sur l'étude de cas
Un ouvrage sur l'étude de cas comme celui-ci ne saurait se passer d'une bibliographie exhaustive des recherches menées dans ce domaine de la méthodologie qualitative, rattaché certes à la sociologie et à l'anthropologie mais aussi à la psychologie, aux sciences de l'éducation, aux sciences administratives, etc. L'exposé que nous avons fait a permis d'envisager rapidement l'étude de cas comme une approche rigoureuse qui conduit, à partir d'un cas judicieusement choisi, à une explication ayant valeur de généralité. Force est de reconnaître que cette définition de l'étude de cas ne correspond pas à la conception qui n'y voit qu'une saisie de cas locaux, « particuliers » qui, du fait de leur faible « représentativité », ne peut être somme toute qu'exploratoire.
